Privacy for CopyFig and Copy to Figma.

Information the extension handles

When you click the extension button or use its keyboard shortcut, Copy to Figma injects a capture toolbar into the active page. To create the copied result, the extension reads the visible page structure, styles, selected elements, and/or a screenshot of the active tab. This page information is used only to create the capture you requested.

The extension writes Figma-compatible HTML data or image data to your clipboard. CopyFig does not receive, store, sell, or share the page content you capture.

License activation

Copy to Figma uses Polar to activate and validate paid licenses. When you enter a license key, the extension sends the key, organization identifier, app version, activation identifier, install identifier, and device label to Polar so it can verify that the license is valid for this browser.

The extension stores license status locally in Chrome storage, including the license key, activation identifier, activation label, benefit identifier, validation status, expiration time, last validation time, and validation count. This lets the extension stay activated between browser sessions and support a short offline grace period.

Local preferences

The extension may store capture preferences locally in your browser, such as the selected output mode or image format. These preferences remain on your device unless you clear browser data or remove the extension.

Website analytics

The copyfig.com website uses Umami analytics to understand page views and important product events such as demo clicks and checkout link clicks. These analytics are used to improve the website and launch funnel. They are separate from extension captures, and they do not include captured page content from the extension.

Third parties

CopyFig uses the following third-party services for core product operations:

• Polar, for checkout, license activation, license validation, and license management.
• Umami, for privacy-focused website analytics on copyfig.com.
• Cloudflare, for hosting, DNS, caching, and security for copyfig.com.

Data use limits

CopyFig uses user data only to provide and improve the extension's single purpose: capturing website UI from the active browser page and copying it into a format that can be pasted into Figma. CopyFig does not sell user data, does not use captured page content for advertising, and does not transfer captured page content to data brokers or advertising platforms.

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Your choices

• You can choose when to run a capture by clicking the extension or using its shortcut.
• You can remove the extension from Chrome to delete its local extension storage.
• You can deactivate a license from the extension options page.
• You can clear browser storage for copyfig.com from Chrome settings.
